Our Grand Tour

Los Angeles - Cambria - Yosemite - Bishop - Stovepipe Wells Death Valley - Kingman Arizona - Grand Canyon - Las Vegas - Niagara Falls, Canada - New York City - Indianapolis - San Francisco - Pacific Grove - San Francisco - Dawn Princess to Sydney
By air, land and sea our 'Grand Tour' departs Brisbane 11 August on Qantas Flight QF175 at 11am and arrives in Los Angeles at 7am.
We were very excited to book our Business Class seats 11 1/2 months out, from our trip, using our frequent flyer points. As well as this flight we were also able to book all our USA internal flights, on American Airlines (a Qantas 'One World Partner), with frequent flyer points. A really great saving.
This trip has been two years in the making with many hours spent pouring over the internet looking for flights, car hire deals, suitable accommodations, sightseeing tours as well as all the other things we want to see and do while we are in the US.
Once we arrive at LAX we will pick up our rental car which will take us all the way through to Las Vegas. From Las Vegas we fly to Buffalo and then a limo will pick us up and take us to Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada.
After we leave Niagara Falls we catch a train from Buffalo to New York City for our 8 night stay and then we fly to Indianapolis for the MotoGP. From Indianapolis we head to San Francisco for a few nights before a weekend in Pacific Grove and our return for two nights to San Francisco before we board the Dawn Princess for our 31 night cruise through the Pacific Islands back to Sydney.
It is hard to explain just how excited we both are and how very much we have been looking forward to this adventure of ours.
